From John Jaeckel's HockeyBuzz.com blog in which he waxes eloquently about "Bubba" Byfuglien -- did you know his name in Norwegian means "bird of the city"? I knooooowwww! -- as well as prospects Aliu and Morin. About Aliu, he writes:
"The Thrash gains a lot of grit and physicality in this deal, not to mention a physical(ly) elite talent (if not a complete hockey player at this point) in Aliu. At the 2009 Prospects Camp, Aliu was clearly the best player on the ice, including Kyle Beach, Shawn Lalonde and other recent high draft picks."
Awww, isn't that right nice of him to bestow young Akim with such ebullient praise?? Perhaps Dudley snuck into their Prospect Camp last summer before he moved his belongings to ATL. Let's just hope for Dudley's sake, JJ's right. If you want to read the rest of the blog, click HERE.
